Oyhut Bay Resort
Oyhut Bay is the newest resort on the Washington Coast. Encompassing fifty acres, this walkable, bike-able village has a bistro and lounge, coffee and gift shop, yoga and fitness classes, a children’s play area, outdoor gas and wood fire pits.
Adjacent to the property is the popular 683-acre Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area, set aside by the State of Washington to protect its woodlands, wetlands and tidal flats. Across the street is the Oyhut Canal, part of a 13 mile fresh water canal system dug in the 1960’s. Plans are made for a new dock on the canal, a bike and walking bath to the nearby beach at Damon Point, and a lodge.
Future amenities include a 2nd playground at the north end of the property, a putting green, an indoor swimming pool & fitness center, a teen center, a community garden, and much more.

Our work: Acquired the land, developed a master plan and a development agreement with the City of Ocean Shores including getting the project rezoned for nightly rentals. Refurbished the existing condominium building, designed and developed Phase I of the cottages, the sales office, restaurant with a bar and the administrative buildings.
Status: The project continues to build out the cottages and retail space. We sold our interest to our partners in 2018 after Phase I was completed.
