Anastasiou Development LLC is a fully integrated real estate development company and has been a major force in the greater Seattle area for over 30 years.
The company has been involved in the development of three million square feet plus of commercial, residential, and resort development with over one and a half billion dollars of financing.
Stavros and Colleen have put together an amazing team of consultants over the years including top area architects and engineers, respected real estate brokers,
trustworthy contractors, and loyal financial partners. The success of this team is due to its basic ingredients: hard work, integrity, and honesty.
Anastasiou Development LLC has developed over 50 projects with the same three partners. Stavros’ robust real estate experience and Colleen’s financial expertise
have created a consistently dominant real estate enterprise in the greater Seattle area.
Stavros Anastasiou is a co-founder and principal of the company. He immigrated to the United States from a small village in Greece at the age of eighteen with a few dollars in his pocket and no knowledge of the English language. Stavros put himself through college and learned English while working in a local restaurant and the shipyards. As soon as he was eligible, Stavros became a proud US citizen! After living in this country for seven years, he got his start in the development business with his cousin’s dynamic real estate company, the Vyzis Company, in Bellevue, Washington. Stavros started and ran the new land development and industrial division of Vyzis Company for over four years until breaking out onto his own in 1987 with Colleen and another cousin at Network Real Estate Services. While working full-time at Vyzis Company, Stavros earned a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Washington.
Fun note: Stavros’ favorite sport is soccer.

Colleen Anastasiou is a co-founder and principal of the company. She is the third of four children of Italian, German, and Irish descent. Her grandparents and great grandparents immigrated to America in the late 1800’s. Colleen grew up in Vancouver, Washington and came to Seattle in 1977 to attend the University of Washington’s business school. She and Stavros met in her senior year, while they were both students and big time disco dancers. Colleen received her bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting. She worked as an accountant at a CPA firm right out of college and then moved over to the Vyzis Company as their CFO, in charge of finance and administration. Colleen and Stavros left Vyzis Company in 1987 to form Network Real Estate Services where Colleen was again CFO. In 1999 they changed their company name to Anastasiou Development LLC. They were married in 1985 and have three beautiful daughters who they enjoy spending time with, especially traveling together.
Fun note: Colleen’s favorite movies are The Godfather I, II & III.
