Totem Lake

Totem Lake was to be a mixed use project on the corner of NE 115th Place and 124th Ave NE in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland, Washington.  We had developed three proposed scenarios.  Scenario A consisted of a three story 46,484 sf assisted living building and a two story 20,675 retail building.  Scenario B consisted of a five story assisted living building of 123,180 sf.  Scenario C consisted of a three story office building of 64,865 sf and a two story residential building of fifty-four units.  Several years after we sold the property, an apartment developer built a large 400 unit apartment building on the property.

Proposed building types: Retail and apartments or assisted living
Lot size: 1.94 acres
Proposed Mixed Use Architect: Freiheit & Ho, Rick Grimes
Our work: Over a seven year period, we purchased the property, went through the development and design processes to create a residential and retail project.  Started the permit process and then found a buyer instead of building the project out ourselves.
Status:  Sold in 2007 during the permit process to an apartment developer who designed their own building plans.  Now known as Slater 116 Apartments with various retailers on the ground floor.

Address: 12340 NE 115th Place, Kirkland, Washington
